Turings Co., Ltd. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the ZoomShot application for macOS (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information.
The App does not require an account, does not collect personal data, and does not transmit any information from your device to our servers or any third party. All user preferences and settings are stored locally on your device only.
2. In-App Purchases
The App offers optional In-App Purchases (subscriptions and one-time purchases) through Apple's App Store. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple through its StoreKit framework.
- We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).
- We do not receive personally identifiable purchase records from Apple.
- Apple's handling of your payment data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
3. Data Storage
All App settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using macOS standard storage (UserDefaults). No data is synced to external servers or cloud services.
4. Analytics and Tracking
The App does not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not track your usage behavior in any way.
5. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party services other than Apple's StoreKit for In-App Purchase processing. No data is shared with third parties.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, the App is safe for users of all ages.
7. Permissions
The App requires the following macOS system permission to function:
- Screen Recording — Required to capture and magnify the screen content in real time. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted externally.
Screen Recording Data Handling
- Collection: ZoomShot does not collect or retain screen recording data. Captured pixels are used only for immediate on-screen rendering.
- Storage/Retention: Screen content is processed in memory only and is discarded immediately. No screen recording data is stored on device or on servers.
- Sharing: Screen recording data is not shared with any third parties.
- Purpose: Real-time zoom, focus highlight, and drawing overlay effects.
8. Your Rights
Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal information to access, modify, or delete. If you wish to remove all App settings from your device, you may uninstall the App.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Terms of Use (EULA)
ZoomShot offers auto-renewable subscriptions. For subscription Terms of Use, we use Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA):
